Our dogs are loved & treated as family members first & foremost. Health & temperament are of the utmost importance to us! We thoroughly research & thoughtfully think through each litter that we chose to create. We will breed only AKC registered litters from superb, healthy lines, free from genetic health problems. As breeders we strive to improve the Doberman Pinscher breed. We plan to incorporate the exquisite Doberman lines that are in the country of Argentina, into the superb AKC lines that are here in the United States. We have an exceptional litter planned this winter from an exquisite male, Cairo De Akido San, imported from Argentina, bred to our beautiful AKC registered black bitch, Lexus. These puppies should EXCEL in the show ring, if you so choose, but will definitely become a VERY important part of your family. Please e-mail us for more details. Although Cairo De Akido San's Dam is Red & Rust & Lexus had a red in her litter, all of the puppies in this litter will be Black & Rust only. Lexus had the Canine Coat & Nose Color Test done by HealthGene & the result was that she is Genotype DdBB, so she can only throw black puppies. If you were looking for a red and rust puppy still please e-mail me & I can refer you to a great breeder that is planning a litter that will have red & rust puppies.

Our puppies are carefully raised in a safe 'nest box' INSIDE our home. They are tended to & looked after around the clock (not only by their natural mother, but by us human parents as well!). They are loved & handled often to ensure proper human socialization. Their tails will be docked & their dewclaws removed at a few days old by a skilled vet. We do not like the super short tail dock of years gone by. We prefer a tail that is just a bit longer, and that complies with the trend that is in the show ring today. (The option of cropping can be discussed through e-mail.) Puppies will get the majority of their nutrition from their mother's naturally balanced milk, but will be supplemented with a homemade formula, that closely resembles mother's milk, if needed. As they grow they will be introduced to safe raw bits of fresh ground meat.  Then a combo of super high quality puppy food & the fresh meats/ vegetables.  This way, puppies systems will be able to handle whichever type of diet their new parents choose. The ideal diet for any animal is a natural, fresh, raw diet. But because of the cost of doing such a diet, I understand why most people do not do this type of diet, and will then recommend a super high quality dog food.
