Lexus is our beautiful AKC registered black bitch. Lexus came to us from Knever Knight Dobermans at the age of 11 weeks, still in her puppy ear wraps. Our search for the perfect Doberman was a long one, and boy was she worth the effort! She has exceeded our expectations and is EVERYTHING we could have ever hoped for in the perfect Doberman! Not only does she have superb conformation, but she has personality to spare! She is intelligent, quick to learn, loving, out going, confidant, and just generally a JOY to be around! Everyone who meets her quickly falls in love with her! And she is quick to accept new friends.
Lexus' Show Career
Lexus debut in the show ring was a good one. At 10 months of age she took 1st in the Doberman Puppy Class & then went on to take 2nd Puppy Group! It was a fun weekend in Tucson Arizona. Then the plans for her next show, in Scottsdale Arizona, got canceled due to me having to have surgery to have all of my wisdom teeth removed, as they were impacting & causing me a lot of pain.
We are planning to show Lexus in an AKC show being held in Tucson, AZ in November '08. If you would like to meet up with us, e-mail me! I also plan to keep her in reasonable shape while she is raising her litter & then hope to put her back in the ring in the spring/summer '09.
Lexus At Home
Lexus is DEFINITELY a big part of our family! She adds so much joy to our home! She has so many goofy quirks & is a constant source of entertainment! One cute thing she likes to do, it that if she finds a pair of my pants where she can get them, she grabs them & drags them somewhere to cuddle with. She first started only doing this if I left her home alone for a short time. I could be gone 5 minutes to get the mail at the end of the street & I would come home & find her curled up with a pair of pajama pants! I guess they're like a security blanket, and she'll still do that to this day, if given the chance. We love Lexus so much & would love to pass this joy onto other families. Lexus will be 2 years old on January 31st 2009, and has matured into the sleek, muscular, yet elegant Doberman that she should be! We're betting she'll produce some pretty exceptional puppies. :-)
